The Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 credential is the premier certification for professionals who implement and administer Microsoft SQL Server™ databases. The certification is appropriate for individuals who derive physical database designs, develop logical data models, create physical databases, create data services by using Transact-SQL, manage and maintain databases, configure and manage security, monitor and optimize databases, and install and configure SQL Server. When you obtain this certification you demonstrate that you have the skills necessary to lead organizations in the successful design, implementation, and administration of Microsoft SQL Server™ databases. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) on Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000 candidates need to pass three core exams and one elective exam that provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise in the implementation and administration of SQL Server databases. MCDBA's on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 are not required to pass Windows Server 2003 exams to retain MCDBA certification. The Windows 2000 Server exams and the Windows Server 2003 exams for the MCDBA on SQL Server 2000 certification remain available concurrently. This program is part of our combo course - you do not need to be a "guru" in SQL Server. Remember, we are a test preparation course - we focus on what you need to know to pass your Microsoft exams. That is one of the advantages of being a Mobile VUE Testing Center. Also, the instructors are also available to you 24-hours a day. The instructors stay with you at the hotel - they never leave.
