Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Administrator (MCITP: Database Administrator) is the premier certification for database server administrators. This certification demonstrates that you can keep up with your enterprise business solutions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Database administrators install or configure Microsoft SQL Server and manage or maintain databases or multidimensional databases, user accounts, database availability, recovery, and reporting. They also design or implement security or server automation and monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server activity. Database administrators are typically employed by mid-size to large organizations. Microsoft Skills Assessments for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 help database administrators focus their exam preparation training and find learning resources. MCITP candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: SQL Server 2005 certification (one exam). After earning this certification, candidates earn their MCITP: Database Administrator by passing two required exams or if you are a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), you may upgrade to the MCITP: Database Administrator certification by taking one upgrade exam instead of the two required exams. This program is part of our combo course - MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, MCTS & MCITP track. You do not need to be a "guru" in SQL Server. The VUE testing center is available to you on-site. We have a VUE Proctor on staff who stays at the hotel with you. When you are ready to test - you test. There is no set time-frame that you have to test - however, you do need to test by the scheduled testing day to stay on schedule. You test when you are comfortable. That is one of the advantages of being a Mobile VUE Testing Center. Also, the instructors are also available to you 24-hours a day. The instructors stay with you at the hotel - they never leave. If you have any questions the instructors are there for you. We will provide you with all of your courseware, MCT Instructor lead training, and everything that you will need to pass these Microsoft exams.
